Pools saved again. But for how long?

Jan 17, 2012 - Two years ago, our pools were saved from the City of Toronto budget chopping block. In 2012, we did it again! Thanks to citizen protests and opposition led by Councillor Josh Colle, the city's budget passed without the planned cuts that threatened to close swimming pools and other valuable city assets.

Is it permanent?  According to Mayor Ford: "we'll hit replay and do it all over again next year."
